ClutchGrab helps members find one another. It does not inspect gear, process payments, provide escrow, arrange shipping, or guarantee a deal.

Before buying

Keep early conversations on ClutchGrab and be cautious when someone pressures you to move or pay quickly.
Verify the seller, item, ownership, condition, labels, compatibility, and included parts.
Check the model against CPSC recalls and, for road helmets or vehicle equipment, NHTSA recalls.
Never send a deposit or irreversible payment before you are comfortable with the seller and item. ClutchGrab offers no payment or shipping protection.
For pickup, use a safe public place, tell someone where you are going, and inspect the item before paying.

Before selling

List only items you own or are authorized to sell.
Use current photos and disclose wear, damage, impacts, modifications, missing components, and limitations.
Do not list recalled, counterfeit, stolen, structurally compromised, or otherwise unlawful products.
Do not accept suspicious overpayments, unexpected payment links, or requests to forward money.

Hidden damage may not be visible.

ClutchGrab does not inspect, test, authenticate, approve, or certify helmets. Certification and condition information is seller-reported. Review manufacturer guidance, check recalls, verify fit and labels, and do not use a helmet with a known or suspected impact history.

A DOT marking represents the manufacturer’s self-certification; it is not a ClutchGrab or government approval of an individual used helmet. Counterfeit labels can exist. Many riders choose to buy helmets new.

Report concerns

Signed-in members can report a listing, member, or eligible conversation from the relevant page and can block another member. For an immediate emergency, contact local emergency services. Product incidents can also be reported at SaferProducts.gov.
